People always told me to make sure you hire a good photographer for your wedding. Luckily, after much searching online, I found Barrie!! I did both an engagement photo shoot and my wedding photos with Barrie. My photos turned out perfect and I am beyond pleased with them! I am a New Yorker and I would say that I have a very high set of standards and she definitely exceeded them. My wedding party was not an easy task. We had 9 groomsmen and 8 bridesmaids. Somehow Barrie found a way to get everyone into countless good shots with EVERYONE smiling and manage the large party seamlessly. Barrie is exceptional…she not only is good with posed photos but she also has a very good feel for what’s going on and is able to capture tons of candid photos. She is the type of photographer that can see a good photo moment even when you can’t. She has an eye for light and detail and color that is a unique skill and not all photographers have it. There was some miscommunication with payment and she handled the situation professionally and I was very pleased with her understanding and the final resolution. In the end, we received over 1,000 photos that Barrie took at our wedding! After our wedding, I had multiple people comment on how calm and pleasant my photographer was at the wedding. At our wedding, she was always there but in the background and wasn’t one of those annoying photographers that was in the way. When people weren’t smiling, she would strike a funny pose or say something that would make people laugh. For my wedding, we had our dog as the flower girl. Barrie did a great job at capturing our dog looking at the camera. The photos are like out of a magazine they are so good. Also, my husband, is the least photogenic person on this planet. Even Barrie was able to capture him not only smiling but also laughing! I would give Barrie my highest recommendation. Please take my advice and save the time searching (I already did that for you!) and use her as your photographer!
